Well ladies, you know a great guy and you really care for him. You want to keep his attention and keep him engaged in a passionate relationship with you. Keeping each person involved and active is really what is required for a strong and lasting relationship! It is easy, especially in longer relationships, to start taking things for granted and not be as thoughtful and caring as you once were. It happens to everyone, you just have to keep making the effort! If one person is being romantic and doing wonderful and thoughtful things for the other, eventually that person will get burnt out if there isn't a similar response! It only makes sense, why keep giving 100% effort if you only get 50% in return? What everyone wants is a relationship where both people love each other at the same level. And that love is displayed by what we do for each other and how we think and act towards that person.

So we've established that women need to be romantic too. Of course, what a woman finds romantic isn't necessarily considered as romantic by men. So what is it that men find romantic? First, let's make one thing clear ladies. Guys want you! They want your body, they want to embrace you, and they want to physically make love to you, and in the right context, that can be a wonderful thing! But let's not confuse sex with romance. The two can be joined together to create a magical experience, but sex alone is not romance and often times it isn't even love. So don't think that stepping out of your clothes is the only way (or even the best way), to get a guys attention and keep it!

Men aren't that complicated, but they are more complex than how popular culture often displays them. While it is true that men think about sex and women fairly often, many women get caught up in only that and start thinking that is all that there is to many guys. But the reality is that there is more to men than that. Men are people too! They have hopes and dreams, fears and weaknesses, and they also have a male ego. Most people hear that expression of 'male ego' and they have a negative reaction to it. They immediately conjure an image of an arrogant guy who cares for himself first and is just out for his own pleasure! There are of course men like this (and women too!), but that isn't what the male ego is. Let's explore this further, because understanding this is what will allow you to connect with a man on a deeper level and make him love you more.

The male ego is a critical part of what makes him the man he is. It is the part of his personality that gives him the courage to ask a girl out, helps him overcome rejection, and it is what makes him think that he even has a chance with a beautiful woman like you! In reality, it is the very reason that the human race is still in existence! It is that extra bit of confidence that drives men to try crazy things that occasionally work out! It is what gives him the confidence to pursue women, it is what drives him through his professional life, and it is makes him compete and drives him to rise and do better after failure. Just think of some of the qualities you usually want in a man: courageous, leadership, decisive attitude, take charge nature, protector, provider, etc. All of that is a direct result of the male ego. Women possess those qualities too, but they are engrained in the personality of most men.

As a women, you must NOT try to take that away from him, you need to feed it and keep it healthy!! If a man receives that kind of support from you, then he will realize just how much he needs you. Because despite the male ego, he needs someone to confirm his accomplishments and remove his insecurities. And there you have it, the male ego results in many aspects of his personality, but deep down, he needs someone like you to acknowledge who he is, what he can do, and love him to take away his own fears and self doubts that he tries to hide.

• Get some nice stationary and make a list of the top 10 things you love about him, then fold and slip it into his wallet, then he'll find a nice gift when he least expects it
• Get a card for him and write about how you love him and be especially sure to thank him for any nice/sweet things he does for you
• Put on red lipstick and put some kisses on a couple napkins and put it in your loved ones lunch.
• Put on a sexy shade of lipstick then kiss your guy's car window a few of times and write a sweet little message with the lipstick on the window
• Give your guy a giftcard to a Victoria’s Secret catalog online, along with a note to saying, "You choose ;)"
